Hi redfujiapples_NR; Yes you can file a lawsuit against the sellers of the lots, but you’ll need to have proof of contract and payment, and be certain that those sellers are in fact the rightful owners of the property, for your case to be successful. If, on the other hand, your sellers were not the legitimate owners of the property in question, then your best option is to file a criminal suit against them, trough which you may be able to recover your monies. In any case, it is my personal opinion, that you will need legal counsel to file any kind of viable judicial procedure in this country, even though the law does not require it for criminal filing;  so my advise is to contact a trusted attorney (preferably one that’s been recommended to you, by someone who has experience in that matter) as soon as possible, who will surely explain your situation and options, in detail.

    Sincerely,

    Paul Tovar
